Animal rescue

I consider myself very lucky to have worked within the animal welfare field since 2003. My journey began as a volunteer animal attendant at the RSPCA in New Zealand, which led to a full-time job as the RSPCA’s ambulance driver and then Inspector.

When I arrived back in the UK, as well as qualifying as a Dog Listener, I also secured a job as a Campaign Manager for Naturewatch Foundation, a small animal welfare organisation based in Cheltenham; and have since joined the fundraising team for Every Chance Rescue, which is a dog rescue organisation set up by Dog Listeners.

Every Chance Rescue bridges the gap that traditional rescue organisations cannot fill by rehabilitating dogs with behavioural problems using the Amichien® Bonding method before finding the dogs new homes.

Our dog is from Every Chance Rescue – to learn more about her rescue from Romania and her rehabilitation into domestic life please go to the My Rescue Dog page.
